Russian Pair of Ancient Bronze Ring Money, ca. 300 BC. Each bronze ring is formed from a tube of bronze turned into a circle, a small space between two termini. Such pieces served as a medium of exchange in Bronze Age Russian cultures, probably deriving from the value of the rare commodity bronze.
