Daunian Askos, ca. 5th Century BC. The bird form jug with single strap handle and short cylindrical spout, a small stylized tail at the opposite end. The round body in a cream color with both light and dark brown horizontal bands and details. Intact. Provenance: Private Collection, Oregon, acquired 1980s.
